Star Plates

For the star plates, I took panes of glass and sprayed them in a sealant, making them foggy. From there, I painted faded circles to be the big stars, then sprinkled black paint on it to be farther away stars.

Hearing Aid

The time period that Silent Sky takes place in is when hearing aids were transitioning from analogue into digital, so I had to research and make a decision about how the hearing aid would work. I used these two research images as my inspiration.

I started out with a cheap brown plastic headband, then took a piece of thick wire and molded it around the ear. I then hot glued the cut off opening of a cheap trumpet. I covered the ends and sharp points with cotton and muslin, then painted them brown.
